Love That Doesn’t Hurt

POEM

Within the essence of being, love finds its place,

A pure sentiment, leaving no trace,

Love that doesn’t hurt, but enchantingly gleams,

Accompanying the soul, like gentle moonbeams.

^

In the garden of the heart, it blooms in light,

A complement of souls, a bond so bright,

Two beings entwined in a warm embrace,

Weaving dreams together, with tender grace.

^

A mirror reflecting the soul’s truth untold,

Where one gazes and loves, no secrets to hold,

Acceptance and self-love, without disguise,

In love given freely, with no deceitful lies.

^

A treasured jewel that fills us with glow,

A sun that shines, a sky of blue we know,

Love nurtured by touches, and glances that last,

With sweet words spoken, unspoken, the past.

^

It’s an eternal dance of passion and emotion,

A soulful melody, stirring every notion,

An everlasting fire that never does fade,

In a soulmate’s arms, destiny’s cascade.

*

Love that doesn’t hurt but lifts us high,

Enveloping us in sincerity that won’t die,

A divine gift, the desire of every heart,

With every beat, a new love story to start.

^

Such is love, sublime and true,

An eternal balm, a path to pursue,

Where two united souls, in one heartbeat,

Build a love that forever, no end will it meet.
